Pattern Description:

This is a nine-page digital document of instructions to make your own crocheted, soft-sculpture version of the character Sikozu from the sci-fi TV series, "Farscape." Arms and legs of doll are wired and poseable. Doll does not stand on its own.

Pattern includes detailed instructions for every part of doll, including embroidering the face, adding wire, and sewing the hair. Patterns for Chiana, Rygel, Talyn, and Moya are also available in my shop.

Pattern is for those with intermediate to advanced crochet skills, as well as hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills. Doll parts are made in spiral rounds.

Gauge:

10 sc x 10 rows = 2 inches square.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 8 inches (20cm) tall

Materials:

  • worsted weight acrylic yarn in red and light peach
  • stuffing
  • 16-gauge wire
  • (2) 5mm or 6mm blue eye posts with backing
  • embroidery floss in black and red
  • plastic cross-stitch canvas or stiff cardboard for shoes

You Will Also Need:

  • D/3.25mm and E/3.5mm hooks
  • wire cutters and pliers
  • sewing machine and red thread for hair
  • scissors, pins, yarn needle, embroidery needle
  • cellophane tape or masking tape
  • one 8.5x5.5 inch piece of cardboard and paper
