You can trust my patterns to be professional, well written, and carefully proofread. My background as a teacher and later as an editor helped me in my goal to write professional crochet patterns, and I also follow the guidelines for writing crochet patterns set up by the DRG publishing network.
If you find a valid mistake in one of my patterns and point it out to me, I will refund the cost of the pattern to you! (Applies only to individual patterns, not collections.)
I learned to crochet at the age of ten but didn't get passionately involved with it until many years later when my son was born. I still love to make baby clothes and blankets even though he's not a baby anymore! All things tiny are what I enjoy crocheting, especially doll clothes and baby clothes.
I have created many of my own patterns that have been published in various magazines (Crochet World, Quick & Easy Crochet, Barbie Bazaar, and Dollhouse Miniatures). I have had 2 crochet books published: "Twentieth Century Fashion Doll Collection" (2006, by Annie's Attic) and "Playtime Jackets" (2011, by Leisure Arts).
This is "New Year's Eve," a special occasion dress for 16-inch fashion dolls. It should fit dolls such as Tyler, Gene, Alex, and Diana.
The silver diamonds at the waist and the silver edging was inspired by an Erte' design, giving the dress an art deco look.
Feel free to sell any items you make from my patterns (but do not mass produce). Please do not resell the patterns themselves or make them available online. They are copyrighted.
Contact me if you have any questions or feedback! :)
I also sell on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PrincessOfCrochet. My patterns are available there, as well as some of my finished items.
