Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Adjustable Ring/Magic circle St(s) = stitch (es) Sc = single crochet Ch = chain Sc2tog = single crochet 2 together Rnd = round Rep = repeat
  • Hdc= half double crochet Dc= double crochet

Pattern Description:

I Designed the Elephant Rattle just for Baby. Elephant measures 7 inches for Trunk to Tail. I crocheted this Elephant and put 4 bells in the head so you will hear a Jingle when Baby shakes it. This Rattle will make a great gift for baby.


  • My Pattern Crochet Hook Size G-6 Medium: Worsted-weight Pink Yarn (A) Medium: Worsted-weight Black Yarn (B) Cluster Fluff-fiber fill 1 Blunt Needle Stitch Markers Four- 9mm Bells

You Will Also Need:

  • Notes: I use the Magic Circle/Adjustable Ring because you can pull the center of your work tightly closed. There are a lot of great videos on how to make a Magic Circle on YouTube, if you still are unable to make this just make the: Ch 2. Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first chain. Place marker in first stitch for beginning of round; move marker up as each rnd is completed in place of the Magic Circle.
