My baby loves to stick her fingers through her crocheted blankets and clutch them in her tiny fists. So I crocheted her something special for that very purpose: a cute little flower! The petals are open loops, providing plenty of grabbing opportunities. You can make one yourself using this simple pattern.
This pattern is easy and quick, great for a newer crocheter. It contains no abbreviations and uses US crochet terms.
Be sure you use a yarn that is strong and non-toxic, as your creation will likely be chewed and sucked on by its inquisitive owner.
IMPORTANT! All patterns are designed by Rachel Kovaciny (Huggermugger) and are protected by copyright laws. You may make your own items from these patterns and sell them, but you may not reproduce or distribute this pattern in any form for any reason other than following its instructions yourself to crochet an item.

I can't remember a time when I wasn't creating things. My mom taught me to crochet and sew, I took art lessons, and I'm now slowly learning to knit. I love the whole crafting process, from coming up with an idea or design to seeing it take shape to enjoying the finished product.
