Pattern Description:
Fit for a little prince or princess!
Our crown, in 3 sizes, is easier than it looks to make.
It has a deep purple "velvet" base and optional black and white "ermine" trim. Choose gold or platinum, and the colors of your favorite jewels.
It uses one basic stitch - single crochet, plus puff stitch, and our stitch guide includes illustrated instructions for both stitches. Written and illustrated instructions are also included on how to change yarn colors.
Gauge:
With small hook, 5 sc and 6 rows = 1" (2.5cm).
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Small, head circumference 20" (51cm)
- Medium, head circumference 21" (53cm)
- Large, head circumference 22" (56cm)
Materials:
- Sport weight cotton yarn, 200 yds (180m) gold
- Sport weight cotton yarn, 50 yds (45m) each of blue, red and green
- Sport weight cotton yarn, 100 yds (90m) each of deep purple and white
- Sport weight cotton yarn, 25 yds (23m) black
- Size F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook
- Size G/6 (4.25mm) crochet hook

- Tapestry needle (blunt point) for finishing
- Stitch markers
- Filler for jewelled globe
