Crochet Pattern Garden Fairy Doll - PDF Pattern - Pixie - Fae - Fairy - Elf - Doll Toy - Waldorf - Flower Girl
Do you believe in Fairies?
Make this adorable Garden Fairy doll as a playmate for your favourite girl, or to sit amongst your house plants, or watch over you in your home. This little one was pictured tending the forget-me-nots in The Enchanted Grove in Spring 2010.
This beautiful Garden Fairy measures 7.5"/19cm tall.
She is an ideal project to use of your yarn 'stash', as she only uses a small amount of yarn. I used a 3mm hook and DK weight yarn for her body and clothes and mohair yarn for her hair. A small amount of polyfill is used to stuff her. Fabric stiffener or hairspray is used to stiffen her wings, though this is not necessary, nor recommended if the doll is to be given to a young child.
USA crochet terminology is used throughout, but I am willing to help with conversion to UK terminology if this is difficult for you.

Stitches for the body should be tight enough so that the stuffing does not show/poke through.
Hello and Welcome to The Enchanted Grove
I have been crafting since I was a little girl and professionally for the last 4 years. My crochet work and patterns are inspired by the changing seasons, the natural world, folklore and mythology.
I have also had some of my designs featured in the UK's Inside Crochet magazine.
