Betsy Bunny

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • single crochet
  • crochet in continuous rounds

Pattern Description:

Betsy Bunny is one adorable rabbit! Make one for someone you love...

Betsy's legs, body, and head are crocheted in one piece, so there are few extra parts that need to be sewn on and very few ends to be woven in! (Most of the ends are hidden inside her body) There are several pictures included in the pattern to help guide you through.

Betsy stands approximately 8" tall, but her ears add an extra 3" (this may vary depending on the yarn and the size of crochet hook used) A list of materials needed to make this toy are included in the pattern.

Don't worry about gauge in this project. I only advise that you crochet fairly tightly to minimize the gaps between stitches.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approximately 8" tall (~11" if you count the ears)

  • yarn-3 colors, plus scrap for eyes (less than one skein of each)
  • G Hook (4.00 mm)
  • polyfill stuffing
  • yarn needle
  • stitch markers

You Will Also Need:

  • doll eyes (optional, unless you don't want to stitch on the eyes)
