I've looked for a long time for a teddy bear pattern that I liked and was not too complicated to crochet. I finally found the exact teddy bear I wanted to do, but it was knitted, I cannot knit. After talking with the lady who designed it and looking at all her bear pictures and with her encouragement I made the decision to TRY to crochet one that looked as close to hers as I could. That's how my Beary Best Fuzzy Friend teddy bear came to be.
The lady is Gypsycream. She really encouraged me a lot.
BBFF bears can be made with any yarn you choose just make sure you use the right size crochet hook for the yarn. Eyelash yarns will make a fuzzy soft bear that is very loveable. I have made many BBFFs and everyone who sees them wants one, no matter what their age (kids to grownups). They are the perfect gift for everyone. However if making for a baby or small child I wouldn't use eyelash yarn and you might want to embroider the eyes.

Crochet is my #1 craft. I subscribe to several magazines for crochet, am always looking for patterns & ideas. Love creating my own patterns. Have been crocheting since I was a little girl, started with making chains with my Mama's crochet thread. My Mama taught me the basics, she's a fantastic crocheter. Her choice was making doilies with crochet thread, but I prefer yarn. I love crocheting ...
