i love this easy to read pattern but i am having a little trouble with the finishing.. i dont have felt so i am going to crochet the eyes but i am having trouble getting the owl shape to form. any suggestions?
Thank you for sharing this pattern for free. Can you advise if this is in US crochet terms (relatively new to crochet).
I recently "downloaded" 2 patterns they will not open. Any suggestions??
Whats a magic circle?...i want to make this. Newbie here and I have no idea what magic circle means.
I'm lost. I simply cannot find the pattern instructions! HELP!
OK. Sorry! FOUND the HUGE button on the right! Don't know if I can crochet since I'm obviously BLIND! ;)Thanks anyway!
I am adding the patterns to my cart. But they don't seem to download. Makes me sad, since there are so many adorable free patterns today... Help please
Hi! I've received similar emails from a few other people. It seems there must be some type of technical difficulty on Craftsy. :( Please email me regarding this, and I'll personally send you the pattern! email@example.com
About how much (yards/feet?) yarn is needed for each owl? Thanks! Super cute, can't wait to make a million of these little guys!
Hi Jenn! Come to think of it, I've actually never measured how many yards are needed for the owls! I want to say about 25 yards should be enough. It's a very quick project that doesn't need much yarn at all. :P
Hello there Josephine,I even joined craftsy and I am not able to download the pdf. I love your baby owls, they are adorable. I am still learning to crochet well.I sent you an email for the baby owl pattern.Thank you
I like TNXVM :)
I cant seem to find the pattern, can anyone help please?
I can't find it as well :S

These are adorable! I have to add them to my daughter's stocking at Christmas! And maybe make some to sell. Thank you!
It's my pleasure! Thanks for trying my pattern. :)
Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. These little owls are very cute. Mine aren't as big as described in the pattern, but I'm using only 8-ply wool. Instead of felt for the eyes, I've been crocheting the white and using little beads instead of the safety eyes, only because that's all I had at the time.
I love your problem-solving skills! :D I bet your owls are super cute.
hi i cant seem to find the instructions on how to make the baby owls! and i really wanna make theem. ta xx

I was looking for something special to add on gift packages. This will be perfect!!! And on the plus side, I will be able to make them in the plane! I travel a lot for work and those 4h flights are getting long ;) Make those will be so much fun during travelling and I only will have to stuff them and finish them when I'll get home! Thanks so much for this pattern. Can't wait to make one!
How many have you made so far? I LOVE plane flights for that same reason. :D
is anyone selling these owls and how much thank you
I'm in the UK and love your little owls!I've made them into keyring and bag charms for my friends friends and family. I've put my finished one's on the projects page. I used wool for the eyes instead of felt. Thanks so much for the patternJenni x
Oh wow! Well hello from across the pond. :) It's so sweet of you to make all those owls for others. :D My phone can't access Craftsy really well, but I can't wait to see your photos when I have a chance to use my laptop. :) Thanks so much for writing! Happy crocheting, Jenni. <3 Josephine
from where can I find the pattern please? As I can't find it! :(
Thanks a lot for the pattern, I LOVE those little owls. And I made a lot of them already. If you wanna have a look, click here:http://sm-scrapdesign.blogspot.de/
Awesome! I love the blue and black combination. :D
Thanks so much for this cute little thing!! It is a little too small for my usage, but it was a great inspiration to me. You can see my work here: http://www.freddaslittleworld.blogspot.de/2013/04/das-geheime-projekt.html Greetings from Winterkind
And now I managed to upload the photo here, too. But I would be happy to welcome you on my blog, too ;-)
Very cute rattle! :D Glad you find inspiration in my pattern. :)
Hi Josephine, I have no experience in crocheting at all, but this evening I succeeded to do the 13 rounds in less then 2 hours (with some help from youtube explanations). Can't wait to finish up the face and stuffing tomorrow! I'm pregnant from my first and was looking for something original to gave away as baptism sugar, I think I found the challenge :-), 5 months to go and a lot of owls to make :-).One question: what is round 6? I think that one is missing in the pattern? Or just skip it?Kind regards,Elyne from Belgium
Oh my gosh, congratulations!! :D How did you the stuffing and face-making go? I hope you'll share photos of your work when you're done because you should totally be proud of your accomplishment. Regarding your question: thanks for noticing the mistake! I thought I fixed that ages ago, but I guess the new version wasn't uploaded. :( I've fixed the issue. The pattern is exactly the same except that I forgot to type "Round 6." So all the Round #s are off by one.
Thanks for sharing Jo! Loved making this owl for all my packages this past Christmas :-) I did learn that I can use my hole punch to make the little black eyes quickly and 'cheeply'
It's my pleasure! :) I'm glad you add a cute little touch to all of your packages! And your hole-punched eyes sound like a great alternative to beady ones. :D
I made about 7 or 8 of these in one night- I ending up putting them on crocheted vines and making a mobile for my daughter's room (she's due in April!). Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with us. Cute and quick- what more could you want!
Thanks so much for writing. Do you have a photo to share? I'd love to see your mobile! :D
i'm new to Craftsy - where's the pattern? :)

Yay! Glad you like it -- hearing feedback from crocheters never fails to brighten my day. :)
That should say three very happy non crocheter's and one very happy "Helper". Sorry.
Thank you for this wonderful little project, I took it to my non crocheting sisters houses last night for a little craft session. everyone had completed their item in the few hours we were together, my 11 year old neice had turned hers into a bat! Three very happy non crochet ears and on very happy "helper" thanks.
Oh yay!!! I'm so happy to hear that! How great of you to introduce others to crochet. :) Thanks for sharing! <3
I don't see the pattern? I see brief description, materials, and skills, but not the actual pattern itself. Am I missing something? These little fellers are SOOOOO cute!
Were you able to find the pattern? The "Add to cart" button should be located to the right of the photo. If not, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I'll gladly send it to you. :)
