Pattern Description:

This dinosaur amigurumi is the original design of my 13-year-old daughter. She has been crocheting with me for about two years, and she loves coming up with her own ideas. She made this brachiosaurus as a gift for a little boy she babysits. I was so smitten by it, I asked her if I could write up the pattern for it and put it in my pattern shop.

Pattern includes:
-- Definitions of stitch abbreviations
-- Materials list, including recommended yarn brands and colors and where to find materials
-- Helpful color photos
-- Links to helpful online crochet tutorials

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approximately 6 to 7 inches tall (15 to 17 cm)


  • (2) 9mm or 10mm black eye posts with safety backing OR black embroidery floss and needle
  • One skein 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn of your choice
  • Polyester fiberfill, about 3 or 4 large handfulls

You Will Also Need:

  • E ( or D (3.25mm) crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Large-head pins
  • Scissors
