The Army Amis pattern includes instructions to make both girl and boy dolls. They are the perfect companion for any child who has someone special serving in the armed forces or on deployment. The rucksack is removable and can hold notes and small keepsakes! You can also personalize the rucksack.
This pattern requires a lot of hand stitching, and has many small parts. Photos are included to assist with proper placement and assembly. The style of crochet is amigurumi, which does not use slip stitches to join, but rather continuous crochet in the round.
The pattern is in English and uses US Standard terms. It contains instructional photos, detailed instructions and grants permission to sell the finished dolls.

Gauge is not essential to this project. If you crochet loosely you should move down a hook size. If your fabric has holes, try reducing the amount of stuffing you use.
