Owls are adorable and wise... and now they're cuddly, too!
Nelson the Owl is one of my favorite designs! He's the perfect accessory for any baby nursery or toy for your little one.
I've crocheted over 20 owls (because everyone I know wants one!), and he looks awesome in so many color combos! I've crocheted grey/blue and blue/white owls for boys, lavender/white and pink/tan for girls... and oodles of other crazy color combos. Don't you love it when you can pick your fave color combos and you end up with something adorable?
If you're looking for something EXTRA cuddly- I like to crochet my Nelson with a bulky weight yarn and a larger hook. You can follow this same pattern, but you'll get a bigger (and even cuddlier) owl! How great is that?!?
Gauge is not important on this project... as long as you're using a hook appropriately sized for your yarn (info in the pattern), then you're good to go!
