Pattern Description:

I LOVE Amigurumi animals! When my mother-in-law came to me wanting an elephant, I jumped at the chance. I based this pattern off of my Amigurumi Pig pattern for the body and legs.

The best part about stuffed animals is that you can make them look the way YOU want. Change the color, the length of the legs, etc. to personalize the elephant to your own liking.

If you would like additional assistance, visit my blog at and leave a comment. ^_^

Gauge is not essential for this project. The yarn weight and hook size will determine the final size of the elephant.

  • worsted weight yarn
  • size H/8 5.0 mm hook
  • stitch marker
  • yarn needle
  • plastic safety eyes (9mm or 12mm)
  • fiber fill stuffing
