He's not gross and creepy like other bugs... Alastair is a fun, easy-to-crochet project, and adorable to boot!

You can use any colors you'd like... you can't go wrong! Make 'classic' Alastair, or check out how he looks with lots of different colors. A great stash-buster!

Gauge isn't too important- use a hook that's appropriate for your yarn thickness, and you're good to go!

  • Size H crochet hook
  • 12mm black plastic craft eyes
  • 3 colors of Worsted Weight yarn: green (50 yds), orange (40 yds) and white (10 yds)

This pattern is easy ,very well written and the instructions are very clear, even if english is not your first language and you're a beginner at crocheting.
