This beautifully delicate shell and lace style blanket is perfect for any new baby. It is a simple design made up from 3 central shell panels which are joined by double and treble crochet and then a 3D ruffle edging. The blanket is worked in soft 4ply baby wool and is a great size to use as a wrap or shawl or a pram cover. A wonderful gift for a newborn or perfect as part of a christening outfit. The finished blanket measures 92cm by 72cm.

The pattern uses approximately 300g of supersoft 4ply baby wool. The panels mean that the pattern could easily be adapted to make it multicoloured.
