A simple and very pretty pattern to make. Use any mix of colour you like but white works best as the dominant and edging colour. You simply make 9 squares of the same pattern and join with double crochet. The finished blanket measures 78cm square.
The item is worked in soft baby DK wool, using a total of approximately 350g. The pattern is written for the colours shown but could easily be adapted for boys or girls.
PLEASE NOTE: The pattern is in US crochet terms including a key and material section.
First designed for a gorgeous baby called Matilda, this pattern makes a gift to treasure forever.

Welcome to HanJan Crafts
A few years ago I had an operation on my knee and couldn't go very far for 6 weeks so my Mum taught me to crochet and now I simply can't stop. It's gone from making gifts for friends to designing my own patterns and now I sell both my handmade items and patterns for others to share in their joy.
