Newborn to 3 months or 5 to 10 lbs

Materials
7 - Skeins of Bernat 100% Acrylic Fingering Weight (2-ply Super Fine) Baby Yarn. (50 g /1.75 oz - approximately 247 m / 270 yards)
2.75mm Steel Crochet Hook
3 yards of 1/4 to 3/8" satin ribbon for waist, bonnet and booties ties
3 small buttons or snaps for back closure
Gauge: 5 - 2 dc shells x 7 rows = 3 inch square

For 6 to 12 months (11 to 18 pounds)

Same as Newborn but 8 skeins of same yarn
3.25mm Crochet Hook
Gauge: 5 - 2 dc shells x 7 rows = 3 - 1/2 inch square
Standard American abbreviations are used.
