Come on in to my crochet design studio! Here's a useful and cute design to solve the problem of doggies who have frequent accidents in the house!
I tried every sort of doggie pants on the market and NONE of them worked! The dogs were so clever at taking them off! In desperation, I started cutting out a design in fleece fabric and voila - it worked! The dogs couldn't remove their "pretty panties."
This year it finally dawned on me, "HEY! I could crochet these!" So i got busy with hook and yarn and came up with what you see here, "PrettiPants."
I make it a point to call them their "Pretty Panties" when I put them on the dog and make a big deal out of how pretty they are. Most times, their "pretty panties" stay dry! Apparently they don't like the wet feeling when they have an accident with their PrettiPants on.
My sister suggested these would also make a great light sweater for her Yorkie furkid. That's definitely a good idea! She also suggested adding a harness loop to the sweater, and I have now included that feature in the design.
If you can do Single Crochet, you can make them yourself for your beloved furkid(s)!
Thanks for shopping my pattern store! ! I hope your furry kiddo will enjoy wearing his or her PrettiPants!
PS - if you don't crochet, email me at email@example.com for information on how to order a finished PrettiPants for your dog!

Welcome! I'm Sheila. I've crocheted since I was about 11, and I've been designing for over 20 years now. I started after my eyes lost the ability to jump quickly back and forth from pattern to work. I started doing my own thing and never looked back!
The vast majority of my work is in thread crochet, although I do enjoy my yarns too. I love to design 3D crocheted objects that are accented by my jewelrymaking hobby, too. I also enjoy creating accessories and winter warming objects like afghans, unique scarves, etc.
My patterns are sold to support the needs of my Miniature Schnauzer rescue dogs. We operate as Sheila's Schnauzies, a nonprofit organization and currently have four furkids here. We all appreciate your support!
If you'd like to see my crochet theme artwork printed on things like t-shirts and tote bags, stop by http://www.cafepress.com/Schnauzies.
I do offer quite an extensive selection of free patterns at http://www..hubpages.com/hub/sheilaschnauzies. There you'll find a complete index of my free patterns.
