Pattern Description:
Many people asked for an adult version of the kiddies's Ermeline hooded cardigan (also available in my pattern store).
So I created a matching hooded cardigan (Jehanne hooded cardi, see my pattern store), and this hooded capelet version !!
I love mine, and can't stop wearing it. It's just perfect to wear inside, or for spring and fall, or chilly summer nights.
Two granny triangles contribute to the shaping of this design, one in the hood, and the second off-centered along the bottom edging of the capelet.
Pretty bobbles add interest to the bottom edging.
Gauge:
16 st and 8.5 rows = 10 cm/4' over double crochet in front loop (dcfl)
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- One size fits most adults.
Materials:
- Cascade 220 "wool" : 3 hanks in red (MC) and 1 hank in grey (CC) (approx 600m /120m)
- 5 mm (H) hook (or size needed to achieve gauge)
