Pattern Description:

Cowl Scarfs are a stylish way to keep warm and add a little bit of pizzaz to your winter wear. This pattern is for a scarf that is convertible and can be worn in a multitude of ways. This pattern will walk you through the steps to create a Cowl Scarf out of medium weight yarn with buttons using simple crochet stitches. The difficulty is at the Easy level, some knowledge and experience of crochet will be necessary. Techniques used include; double crochet, single crochet, slip stitches, and chain stitches. You will need 10 ounces of soft medium weight yarn (preferably a yarn with a soft silky feel), 6 3/4" to 1 " buttons, a 5.0 mm crochet hook, and a yarn needle to complete this.
