Basic Skills Necessary:

  • The crochet stitches include, sc, hdc, dc, tr and sl st and front loop and back loop work. (It is written using U.S. Crochet abbreviations)

Pattern Description:

Living in Kansas, I felt like the wizard of oz would be a great series of reading character bookmarks. Here is my rendition of the tin woodman of Oz.

The pattern includes description of abbreviations and complete instructions along with picture tutorials.

Like all my reading Character bookmarks, his head hangs out of the book for ease of finding the reader's place. His arms with his ax can go inside the book or hang outide as well.

What a delightful gift to give to anyone who loves to read. It would make a wonderful award for any academic achievement or to give a graduate to acknowlegde that reading is a life long habit. I have one customer who loves to add these as package adornments to spruce up her packages. What a great gift for any father who loves the woods and has a heart.

Contact information is on pattern if you have any problems, feedback or just want to show me how cute it looks.
