Pattern Description:

I designed this item because I have been crocheting so much lately I ended up with a blister right where I like to wrap my thread to keep tension while I'm working! So I made myself a finger wrap to wear instead of going through all my bandaids. The first part was just about the same as a bandaid...even the same color. But I decided to add some bright borders on the edges because my thread kept finding its way underneath it.

I've been wearing mine almost non-stop since making it. I even forget I have it on and end up going to the store with it on! I understand that not everybody has skin issues, or tension issues, but this has really been a true finger saver for me since I have both skin issues and strive to crochet pretty tight with my thread just like all the vintage pieces from my grandmother.

Hope you get some use out of this!

A year or so later, she found a bag that had been her mother's which contained some gorgeous doilies her mother had made, along with some skinny crochet thread and some impossibly small steel crochet ...
