Don't you hate throwing cash in the trash for those expensive duster refills?
Well, I did, so I designed a little thing I call the Spiffer(c). It comes in two styles; one for the floor duster, which is this pattern, and another coordinating one for the hand duster.
The Spiffer attaches to your "you-know-what" mop with those little fluffy stitches that you see. You simply pop an adjacent one into the hole on your mop on each corner, and you're mopping! You can, of course, use this wet or dry.
It's a great idea to have two or more of them made up in your favorite colors so you can always have a clean one ready to go! Make them to match your decor, or in white if you like to bleach your cleaning things as I do.
Crochet it up in an evening and you'll not only use up your cotton scrap yarn, you'll have a permanent duster refill that can be bleached, machine washed and dried over and over. Now, how cool is that! It's "green" cleaning at its best!
Oh and just one more thing -can you imagine making a wedding or housewarming gift basket including a set of these mop and duster refills in the recipient's favorite colors? Fun!!
If you love the Spiffer(c) Floor Mop, why not pick up the set of the Spiffer(c) Floor Mop & Hand Duster Refills? You'll save $ on the set!

Welcome! I'm Sheila. I've crocheted since I was about 11, and I've been designing for over 20 years now. I started after my eyes lost the ability to jump quickly back and forth from pattern to work. I started doing my own thing and never looked back!
The vast majority of my work is in thread crochet, although I do enjoy my yarns too. I love to design 3D crocheted objects that are accented by my jewelrymaking hobby, too. I also enjoy creating accessories and winter warming objects like afghans, unique scarves, etc.
My patterns are sold to support the needs of my Miniature Schnauzer rescue dogs. We operate as Sheila's Schnauzies, a nonprofit organization and currently have four furkids here. We all appreciate your support!
