Created in memory of a French pin that showed flying lips, these lips could be a pin, a neck piece, or, worked with smaller hooks and lighter yarns, earrings. Add a magnet and they're a fridgie, make a bunch and they're a mobile. Called simple, as they are one-piece, 3D lips. I also have a pattern for two-piece, 3D lips.
As shown, they use generic, worsted-weight acrylics.
A dark contrast yarn defines the upper and lower lip.
Using a F/3.75mm hook and worsted weight yarn, they are about 6"/15.24 cm.

Long, long ago, far, far away, when the subway cost a quarter and the corner drugstore was also an ice cream parlor where a little girl sipped vanilla egg creams, her mother, who made her wonderful clothes, showed her how to crochet. Her father taught her how to solder and make a tuner.
