I tried this pattern, had questions, no reply from the pattern maker.
Do you have this pattern in spanish?
Hi!I bought the adult pattern but i wanted the 3 in 1, how can i change my order?Chantal
Do the directions show how to do a crocodile stitch? I am interested but don't want to buy it is I don't know the stitch!!
Croc stitch is easy. If pattern doesn't come with an explanation (and it should) email me and I'll send you it. Mathbuster@att.net
I paid for this pattern. But I can't get the pattern to come up. It's on my list but no pattern so I can start. Are your downloads kindle friendly?
I'm only 15 and my parents won't let me purchase it. ): Is there any way someone can send it to me? ): I would greatly appreciate it.
Maybe they will buy the pattern for you as a birthday gift. Or ask an aunt or uncle if they would "gift" it to you. Save up some money yourself and purchase it yourself with a VISA/MC gift card. You are at an age that you can earn a little bit of $ on your own. Help a neighbor with house or yard work, baby or dog sit. Make a hat or scarf and sell them to family, friends or neighbors. Use your noggin. I'm sure you can come up with something! But its not fair to expect someone who purchased the pattern to give it to you for free. This is unfair to both the buyer and seller.
Behena, email me and I will buy it for you. Need to foster the arts! Mathbuster@att.net I believe in paying it forward...
So cute I love them!
I am having trouble with the top ruffle, is that done separate and then sewn on?
Good luck getting the pattern maker to respond.
You can crochet it directly, or sew it on afterward, whichever you are more comfortable with. E me if you're having problems. Mathbuster@att.net
I purchased the pattern with the baby and kid sizes, and now I want to make some adult sizes but I don't want to pay 10.00 for all three patterns since I already have two of them, can you help me out with just purchasing the adult size?
Never mind,I must have paid for all 3 of them because it let me print it out!! Thank you, Love this pattern!!!
Love this pattern!!! Made one pair and getting ready to make another :)
I'm a born-again crocheter. By this, I mean that I used to crochet (about 35 years ago) and have just taken it back up again. Sadly, I'm having to relearn almost everything.I came across this pattern and fell madly in love. You'll be glad to know that THIS is my first-ever, purchased pattern. I have already promised a pair out.If it goes smoothly enough, I'll have a pair for myself, in the end.
I just completed my first pair of slippers for my grand daughter 1 pair down 2 pairs to go
How long did it take you to make?
did you have any issues figuring out the top part, I mean when you start laying foundation for scales and you make that extra 6 i think stitches....i'm so stuck...
have made several of these boots now for grandaughters.pattern easy to follow.
Chris I'm glad you like them. Great for your grandaughters to make them crochet items. Make sure to pass it on your skills and teach them how to crochet. I learned from my grandma when I was 7 years old and now it has become my passion and career.
Hi everyone! If you need any pattern support, please contact me at email@example.com.
I can't figure out the extra stitches made for the part that will have the button holes...i'm laying the foundation row right now and am very stuck...help!!
hi i just buy this pattern and i'm doing the 0-6 baby size but i have a doubt , im doing the body but in Rnd 5 decrease says Ch 2 (count as bphdc), * fphdc in next fphdc, bphdc in next bphdc, rep from * around to 2nd place marker; Begin front section decrease - fphdc next fphdc, ** skip next bphdc, fphdc in next fphdc, rep from ** around, join with sl st in first bphdc (38 sts). but in the previous rnd i have 50 st so, it doesn't make sense because if a do what you say i end with 40 something stitches
please help!!! =S
Aje, I sent your response by email. The stitch counting on Round 5 is correct. You need to review your decreases.
I LOVE THIS PATTERN, but this is where I ran into a problem: This is on page 6 of the adult pdf instructions. > Pattern says clockwise after count 8 stitches, then says continuing counterclockwise after counting 36 sts. Then, boxed text on the same page says > Is that one "counterclockwise" in the first set of instructions an error?
Some of my comment was left out, but I think you get the gist of my confusion.
Lianka at Bonita Patterns very graciously replied to an email I sent about this issue and clarified that counterclockwise in this paragraph should read clockwise. Thank you, Lianka. I would suggest anyone having issues contact Bonita Patterns for quick explanation and resolution. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the boots!
aw...that held me up for a while to until i went ahead and figured it was a mistake thanks for asking Moma Mia
Look`s so great pattern! I`m very excited to start crocheting, already downloaded to my Kindle :-)
How do you download to the Kindle?
I'm not sure if you can download to Kindle. You need to have Adobe Reader to open the PDF file and I don't know if there is a compatible softwared for Kindle.
You can email PDF files to your Kindle. Check your "manage my Kindle" page @ Amazon to see what your Kindle email address is. If you have the Kindle Fire you can get an app that let's you easily send any file to Kindle.
YES, you can email them to your Kindle too. There is an app for Kindle Fire for a reader that WILL read a .pdf file now too! Cannot remember though now if it's a free app or if you must purchase in app store of Amazon. I downloaded it a while ago and it works well.
Get bluefire reader for KiNdle. It's free.
Can you make these in adult sizes? If so please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Awesome!
Hi there! These trio includes the pattern for the Adult Sizes. The showcased green boots are the adult sizes of the pattern.
i HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO DOWNLOAD MY PATTERN. PLEASE HELP

Ilove this pattern, I,m almost finished with my first pair.
I'm a knitter and I can do a basic chain stitch . I love this pattern !! How did you rate it difficulty wise ?
Nannybou, I'm glad you like it! It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to make slippers that I'd find flattering for both my baby and myself to wear.
Super Design....Downloaded and printed... I cannot wait to start these. I am sure my daughters and grand-daughter will be asking for some too....Thank you!
I purchased this pattern and am now on my third pair. It has taken me this long to figure out all the inconsistencies and typos so I could rework it to be correct. I have crocheted for 43 years and this is the first pattern that I have ever had with problems. I am very dissappointed with this pattern and the adult pattern. Both have the same problems. I will think twice before getting another.
What were the inconsistaencies you found on the directions. I haven't started them yet and I get so frustrated when there are errors in directions. :)
Yes, Bonnie. I've crocheted for 47 years and I've encountered lots of patterns with problems, whether pattern itself not being detailed enough or me being dense. When you say both have the same problems, can you indicate where the problems are? We who purchased would like your opinion since you've already completed two pairs.
I am considering getting this pattern but based on your review/comments I am unsure. Can you explain what you mean by inconsistencies? And I'm wondering if anything has been corrected since your post and the other one that mentioned a mistake between clockwise and counterclockwise. I am on a limited budget and $10 is too much for me to spend to be disappointed.
I crochet all the time and I am so frustrated but don't want to give in! I need help with the top!
Can't wait to make these. Just finished printing it all. Very cute !!
ok, I thought I had downloaded this 2 days ago, then got an email that said it was an update. do I pay again to download it?
No, you don't have to pay again, just go to your account and download the updated version.
i have worked this pattern and have completed first pair.now need to get right size hooks
I started the baby booties yesterday, got both of the feet parts done, today to the cuff, had no problems following the patter, after I read it 2,3 times, to be sure,
i'm stuck at the cuff...was making for someone and now I can't make them for her christmas...maybe i'll read it yet again.
This may be a stupid question but I got the notice saying there was a pattern update and I went to my account and it only has the original pattern. It doesnt say update anywhere. If I download it again how do I know that it is the updated pattern?
tAndrea, the latest file available in your Pattern Library is the latest version. The reason why I updated the file was because one set of images was covering a line of instruction. It was merely a formatting issue. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I'd like to see 'why' there is a new updated version.. so I can make my own changes to the original instead of downloading a complete new version... please indicate where the changes are.. ie, page #, paragraph # and line #.. would be much appreciated... this is the second time I have been notified of an updated version..
The reason why I updated the file was because one set of images was covering a line of instruction. It was merely a formatting issue. I apologize for the inconvenience. When I bundled the 3 patterns together in one file, somehow, the formatting of the text and images was affected. Unfortunately, when I update a file, there isn't an option to send out a message to those who have purchased previously to indicate where and what changes took place. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Lianka Azulay.
