Maybe they will buy the pattern for you as a birthday gift. Or ask an aunt or uncle if they would "gift" it to you. Save up some money yourself and purchase it yourself with a VISA/MC gift card. You are at an age that you can earn a little bit of $ on your own. Help a neighbor with house or yard work, baby or dog sit. Make a hat or scarf and sell them to family, friends or neighbors. Use your noggin. I'm sure you can come up with something! But its not fair to expect someone who purchased the pattern to give it to you for free. This is unfair to both the buyer and seller.

I'm a born-again crocheter. By this, I mean that I used to crochet (about 35 years ago) and have just taken it back up again. Sadly, I'm having to relearn almost everything.

I came across this pattern and fell madly in love. You'll be glad to know that THIS is my first-ever, purchased pattern. I have already promised a pair out.

If it goes smoothly enough, I'll have a pair for myself, in the end.

hi i just buy this pattern and i'm doing the 0-6 baby size but i have a doubt , im doing the body but in Rnd 5 decrease says Ch 2 (count as bphdc), * fphdc in next fphdc, bphdc in next bphdc, rep from * around to 2nd place marker; Begin front section decrease - fphdc next fphdc, ** skip next bphdc, fphdc in next fphdc, rep from ** around, join with sl st in first bphdc (38 [44] sts). but in the previous rnd i have 50 st so, it doesn't make sense because if a do what you say i end with 40 something stitches

I LOVE THIS PATTERN, but this is where I ran into a problem: This is on page 6 of the adult pdf instructions.
>
Pattern says clockwise after count 8 stitches, then says continuing counterclockwise after counting 36 sts.
Then, boxed text on the same page says
>
Is that one "counterclockwise" in the first set of instructions an error?

You can email PDF files to your Kindle. Check your "manage my Kindle" page @ Amazon to see what your Kindle email address is. If you have the Kindle Fire you can get an app that let's you easily send any file to Kindle.

YES, you can email them to your Kindle too. There is an app for Kindle Fire for a reader that WILL read a .pdf file now too! Cannot remember though now if it's a free app or if you must purchase in app store of Amazon. I downloaded it a while ago and it works well.

I purchased this pattern and am now on my third pair. It has taken me this long to figure out all the inconsistencies and typos so I could rework it to be correct. I have crocheted for 43 years and this is the first pattern that I have ever had with problems. I am very dissappointed with this pattern and the adult pattern. Both have the same problems. I will think twice before getting another.

Yes, Bonnie. I've crocheted for 47 years and I've encountered lots of patterns with problems, whether pattern itself not being detailed enough or me being dense. When you say both have the same problems, can you indicate where the problems are? We who purchased would like your opinion since you've already completed two pairs.

I am considering getting this pattern but based on your review/comments I am unsure. Can you explain what you mean by inconsistencies? And I'm wondering if anything has been corrected since your post and the other one that mentioned a mistake between clockwise and counterclockwise. I am on a limited budget and $10 is too much for me to spend to be disappointed.

tAndrea, the latest file available in your Pattern Library is the latest version. The reason why I updated the file was because one set of images was covering a line of instruction. It was merely a formatting issue. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I'd like to see 'why' there is a new updated version.. so I can make my own changes to the original instead of downloading a complete new version... please indicate where the changes are.. ie, page #, paragraph # and line #.. would be much appreciated... this is the second time I have been notified of an updated version..

The reason why I updated the file was because one set of images was covering a line of instruction. It was merely a formatting issue. I apologize for the inconvenience. When I bundled the 3 patterns together in one file, somehow, the formatting of the text and images was affected. Unfortunately, when I update a file, there isn't an option to send out a message to those who have purchased previously to indicate where and what changes took place. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Lianka Azulay.
