My name is Kara and I am a crochet blogger, designer, and instructor. My blog, Petals to Picots (http://www.petalstopicots.com), is a celebration of crochet and other fiber arts. It is filled with helpful information and tutorials, gorgeous photography and inspiration, and boasts over 75 free crochet patterns (and counting!).
I first learned to crochet from my grandmother when I was 9 years old. I have over 30 years crochet experience and recently graduated from the CGOA Masters of Advanced Stitches & Techniques program. I strive to provide unique, accurate, and easy to follow patterns.
When I'm not designing or teaching classes at my local yarn store, I am taking care of my husband and three children in our New Jersey home.

"I would absolutely buy another pattern because it is so detailed and I love how you add the total of stitch counts we should end up with, and which stitches don't count etc... this is a huge help for me. " ~Danielle M.
