Pattern Description:

A beautiful flower with six well-defined separate lacy petals. It is worked without rejoining the yarn in just 5 rounds.

This pattern is a modern take on a piece of vintage
crochet from my Great Grandmother's work.

A beautiful embellishment to crochet or knitted items or as a brooch or hair slide. A great stash buster, can be worked with small amounts of yarn in any weight. Just use a suitable hook to give a tight finish.

Measures approximately 12cm and uses less than 10g when worked in double knit yarn with 3.5mm hook.

This version of the pattern uses UK crochet terminology.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12 cm if worked in DK with 3.5mm hook

  • a small amount of yarn
  • suitable hook for a tight finish
