Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This prop is intended for twins. Both hats are sized for an infant 4 - 5 lbs or approximately 2 kg. They will fit a head circumference of 11 1/2" - 12 1/2" or 28-33 cm. In order to fit a larger newborn, I suggest you size your hook up to either a G(4.25mm) or an H(5.00mm).


  • Size G (4.00mm) crochet hook Size H (5.00mm) crochet hook Size K (6.5mm) crochet hook Size N (9.00mm) crochet hook 1 skein 4 ply yarn in grey (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Grey Heather) Small amount of 4 ply yarn in gold (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Gold) Small amount of 4 ply yarn in green (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Spring Green) 1 skein 4 ply yarn in pink (I used Caron Simply Soft in Soft Pink) Small amount of bulky weight yarn in pink (I used Lion Brand Homespun in Tulips) Small amount of 4 ply yarn in white (I used Red Heart Super Saver in Soft White)

You Will Also Need:

  • Two buttons 1 large sheet of plastic canvas Tapestry needle Measuring tape 1 wooden dowel (I used a size 3/16 in.) or 1 bamboo skewer 1/3 of a yard of tulle, 24 to 32 inches wide Ribbon (optional)
