Pattern Description:

This pocket heart is a very versatile pattern. You can make a single layer, complete double layer, or heart with half pocket. The usages are numerous. Unstarched, it can be a gift pocket, a package decor or name tag, a corner bookmark. It can hold sachet or a gift soap or a gift card. In its starched form, it makes a lovely Christmas tree ornament, a wall hanging, a small floral bouquet holder. It is just so versatle and quick to work up. It can be crocheted in about two hours, so it is a quick gift, a fun carry-along project and a beautiful addition to your home.


In dc, 20 stitches is 1-7/8" (4.875 cm); 10 rows equals 1-5/8" (4.1 cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3.5" wide x 4" tall


  • Size 7 Crochet hook (1.65 mm), small scissors, size 10 thread, ribbon. Supplies for starching if desired.
