Pattern Description:

12 page pdf file pattern to make these pretty Spring Egg Sunbonnet Cozies and matching Coasters. A quick and interesting project in cotton pastels. Large eggs are wrapped, Amish Style, in a pretty bonnet tied at the bottom and resting on a collar that doubles as a coaster. Great decoration or place holder for Easter or Baby Shower.

There are lots of photos to take you step by step for different advanced crochet stitches: FPsc, FPdc, and Star Stitch. There are also plenty of photos so that you know exactly how to complete each part of the sunbonnets.

This Star Stitch or Marguerite Stitch in the coasters are a beautiful addition to any crochet library. It can be used for shawls and sweaters or as a panel stitch for purses and hats. A photo tutorial takes you step by step to master this stitch.

Finished dimensions:
Coaster: 4 inches in diameter
Sunbonnets: will fit large chicken eggs or wooden eggs (I bought the ones in the photo above at Hobby Lobby Brand: Tree House, 4 eggs, 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" )
