You will need a Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm).This is a larger size hook than usually used with thread crochet and makes working with thread crochet easier for those who are not comfortable with thread.

Gauge:

8 hdc = 1 inch (2.5cm),
5 hdc rows = 1 inch (2.5cm)

bedspread weight cotton thread (size 10)
13 yards peach (or choice of skin color)
17 yards white (or choice of pinafore color)
19 yards blue (or choice of dress and eye color)
2 yards goldenrod or gold (or choice of "Unbirthday Party" Cup rim)
3 yards black (or choice of shoe color)
Small amount red (or choice of mouth color) Could also use embroidery floss
1 skein yellow, gold (or choice of hair color) embroidery floss
Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm)

Small amount of polyester fiberfill.
