Pattern Description:
I discovered miniature crocheted bears on line in 2005 and I was amazed at the details captured in such a tiny miniature. I couldn't wait to get started creating my own little bear. I purchased a couple of patterns and set to work. No, this wasn't work it was fun and exciting and soon I was designing my own patterns.
My patterns are written with every level of crocheter in mind. I want you to have fun and enjoy creating your very own crocheted miniature bear. Only basic stitches are used with increases and decreases. Numerous pics are included to give you a good visual of the pieces as you crochet them. The pattern has been tested several times to make it accurate and understandable
Gauge:
no guage is required
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 3 inches tall when completed with cotton crochet thread, size 10
Materials:
- cotton crochet thread size 10 in two colors of choice
- crochet hook, us steel # 7
- cotton stuffing (packs better than polyfil
- 2 onyx beads size 3mm for eyes
- miniature stuffing tool (optional)
- hole punch set (to punch the whites of eyes
- small amount of white ultra suade for whites of eyes
- art pencils for shading around eyes
- tiny flower or other embellishments
- cotter pin and disc
- cotter key or small needle nose pliers
You Will Also Need:
- scissors
- black embroidery floss
- beading needle
- quilting or other strong thread for jointing

But, those who know me best recognized me for my zest and zeal to create, especially in crochet. I have been an avid crocheter since the age of 6, learning those first basic stitches, as so many others, under the careful instruction of my mother and grandmother.
Over the years I have enjoyed creating clothing, afgans, wonderful Christening gowns and more.
Over the past few years I have been designing and writting patterns for miniature bears. I find it so much fun that I want to pass along the patterns for others, so that they can create their own tiny creatures.
