I love victorian carolers in movies and books so I decided to make this wall hanging from two of my victorian Carolers bookmarks. I added the gas lamp post and now it is perfect for any space on a wall.

All abbreviations are U.S. abbreviations for crochet.

Gauge:

8 hdc = 1 inch (2.5cm),
5 hdc rows = 1 inch (2.5cm)

13 inch (33cm) Round

Materials:

Various colors of size 10 crochet thread as follows:
20 yards peach (or choice of skin color)
28 yards dusty rose (or choice of skirt, lapel & hat band accent color)
44 yards burgundy (or choice of female's coat. male's pant & hat color)
40 yards spruce green (or choice of male's coat color)
8 yards cream or white (or choice of Caroler Songbook Pages)
20 yards black (or choice of male's shoe, songbook cover & eye color)
1 yard green (or choice of female's eye color) could also use embroidery floss
Small amount red (or choice of mouth color) could also use embroidery floss
1 skein cream Caron Simply Soft Yarn or Worsted weight yarn (or choice for female's fur, male's sweater, snowy ground and lamp post globe color yarn)
2 skein black (or choice of hair color) embroidery floss
1 yard yellow embroidery floss for lamp post flame
Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm) or Aluminum hook size B for working with the crochet thread
Aluminum Crochet hook size C (2.75mm) for working with the yarn

You Will Also Need:

Small amount of polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
