Pattern Description:

You can easily upcycle a sturdy cardboard box by covering it with crochet. Use bits of yarn from your stash and you have a bright, padded container to hold magazines, books, or whatever else you have in mind. Add embellishments like handles or tassels! You will be using a Size K hook and two strands of yarn, so the project works up quickly. Or, try using a single strand of chunky yarn, or even 't-shirt yarn'.

  • Sturdy cardboard carton
  • Worsted weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Size K crochet hook
  • Size G crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
