- The basic flag pattern is very simple requiring only (UK) double crochet and decreasing stitches. The Union Jack flag using a tapestry crochet technique and is a bit more complicated.
Pattern Description:
A Jubilee and Olympic year in the UK, so why not celebrate with some patriotic bunting! Quick and easy to crochet and sew together making a very pretty home (or garden) decoration.
The Union Jack flags are made using a tapestry crochet technique, which means that both sides of the flag are the same and there is no sewing in of lots of messy ends of yarn. Its a bit fiddly but once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Individual flags measure 16 cm wide by 20 cm long

- 3 different colours of dk yarn
- 4 mm Crochet Hook
- Ribbon
- Buttons
