Make these versatile placemats in any color to match your decor. They can be used as individual placemats or as a table runner for a centerpiece. The placemats were created using two strands of crochet cotton, size 10, held together and alternating a light and dark tone with an accent of coordinating metallic thread. This is not as complicated as it looks! A design graph is included for reference. Detailed embroidery instructions for the vertical design and snowflake are also included.
This pattern is written in U.S. terms.

I have always loved crafting!
My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go motifs, filet crochet, etc. My other favorite crochet projects are working on my reversible designs.
I also enjoy cross stitch and knitting. Someday I hope to learn quilting and tatting.
