Pattern Description:
This set was inspired by a child's drawing of the sun, and makes a
fun alternative to square and rectangular blanket patterns.
The pattern uses post stitches to create texture.
This pattern is also available using UK crochet abbreviations.
This pattern was originally published as a UK version in Inside Crochet's August, 2011 issue.

Gauge:
With smaller hook, work through 7 rounds in pattern = 6.75 in (17 cm) diameter.
Exact gauge is not critical to this project.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Blanket: 39 in (1 m) diameter; Pillow: 7.5 in (19 cm) diameter
Materials:
- Spud & Chlo Sweater yarn (3.5 oz/100 g/160 yds/148 m/55% Superwash Wool, 45% Organic Cotton) - 4 skeins Firefly 7505 (Main Color) and 2 skeins Pollen 7508 (Color B)
- K-10.5 (6.5 mm) and I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hooks or any size needed to obtain gauge
- Yarn needle
- Fiber filling
