Pattern Description:

I designed this one after thinking about hexies and granny squares, wondering if I could come up with other shapes. Pentagon was the first shape I came up with. The border has pentagons in it too.

I've included detailed instructions for the joining method I came up with, and also the border in the 14 pages of the pattern. I've included close up pictures of each square and each step of the joining and border.

I used gorgeous soft bamboo cotton yarn. I am so glad I did - it feels divine.

I'm really happy how it turned out. I hope you enjoy the pattern.

I used 8 ply bamboo cotton yarn with a 5 mm crochet hook, but you can use any yarn and hook combination.

Probably not for a beginner. Great for the intermediate and advanced crocheters.

The finished size of the pictured blanket is approx 38 inches from a corner to the middle of the opposite side.
