  • dc/sc = UK double / US single crochet
  • htr/hdc = UK half treble / US half double crochet
  • tr/dc = UK treble / US double crochet

Pattern Description:

The perfect square for the 8th month the Octagon Garden Afghan Square is a great stash buster! Have some fun using different colours or variegated yarn to create something special and unique - the colour combinations are virtually endless!

The 'Octagon Garden Afghan Square' pattern is not only the perfect square to add to a multi square themed Afghan or for a cushion. but it could be used for scarves,bags or potholders too!

This is an intermediate pattern but it's suitable for advanced beginners looking to learn some new crochet techniques. Pattern is written in UK and US terms and includes explanations of all stitches and abbreviations.
