This square Maple Leaf Hot Pad would make a great gift. Make more than one and give them as a set. It can be used as a Hot Pad, a Pot Holder, or even a Mug Rug. You have the option of either crocheting the back in a solid color or you can make it the same as the front. You could even do another color on the back have fun with it and make it your own.

SAHM to two wonderful children 1 girl and 1 boy. I love to crochet, cross stitch, and do all kinds of crafts. I relearned to crochet in 2007 after I lost my Mom because of a car accident. It was something she always wanted me to do, so to get through that time and stay busy I tried it again and loved it. Thanks Mom!! I have been married to the most wonderful man for over 19 years now. He loves me but is not so crazy about all the mess from my many projects. Yarn is not the best thing to hook your toe on when heading to a midnight potty run. HE HE HE. Now thanks to my kids I have started designing my own patterns.
