This is a fun ornament for the Intermediate Level crocheter to make.
This male victorian caroler crochet pattern can also work as Christmas ornament or home decor wall ornament for that space that needs a little extra flair on the wall as well as a reading character bookmark.
He would make an adorable ornament for a package that gets mailed instead of a smashed bow.
If made for an ornament, he hangs from his burgundy top hat which matches is pants and the lapels on his spruce green coat. He also wears a warm removeable muffler to keep the winter cold out as he sings his carols. His songbook is held in his hands and tilts out so he won't forget the words.
If he is made for a bookmark, his head and top hat hang outside the book. His songbook can hang outide the book to remind any reader that there is more story to go.
Pattern includes instructions for each use. Contact information is on pattern if you have any problems, feedback or just want to show me how wonderful he looks.

My mother taught me to make a chain stitch when I was in elementary school. I was hooked. Now, I enjoy making knit and crochet patterns that I love for others to learn these wonderful arts.
