Pattern Description:
Granny squares are making a HUGE comeback! With good reason! This gorgeous blanket will be loved by any boy or girl!
Not your typical, pastels or rainbow colors, which I still love, but a stunning grey and crisp white color palette!
Perfect for the modern mommy and baby! Two shades of grey and crisp white take a retro classic to today's baby! A lacy border is not to feminine as to offend the manly senses!
IMPORTANT:
I am not permitted to provide instructions for the crochet edge as it was taken from a wonderful book Around The Corner Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman. A simple crochet edge is suggested in my pattern or you can certainly add your own crocheted edge!
It measures approx. 40" L x 32" W.
Great size for the crib or toddler bed as well!
A must for the colder weather and very useful for the chilly air conditioned spots as well!
Great for the car seat! A must for the crib! Super to have baby on the floor! NOT JUST FOR BABIES! Toddlers will love this too! A terrific snuggle blanket!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 40" L x 32" W.
Materials:
- crochet hook size H (5.0mm)
- 355 yards (325 meters) each skein. You will need 2 skeins white; 1 skein light grey; 1 skein medium. Any worsted weight (4) yarn will work!

About the Designer
I was taught to knit by my mother in my teens in the '70's and I quickly went from that to cross stitch and then needlepoint.
Life goes on to a full time job, marriage, a child and then in early in 2004, I was forced to stay off my feet. I pick up the needles and started with knitting a scarf and then another, and then another! Next thing I know, I have 50 of them!
Off to a local ...

Off to a local art gallery I go to peddle my wares! They loved and sold them all! Creative Design was born! Three upscale children's boutiques and women's wear shops later, here I am! Fingers flyin' with an Etsy shop sheilalikestoknit and lovin' Craftsy!
I can most often be found in "my chair" surrounded by a pile of yarn, fabric, more yarn, needles, another pile of yarn, patterns, more fabric...etc! We love to travel, eat good food, be with family and great friends!
Knitwear: my handmade knitwear is lovingly created by me! The process of choosing great fabric and yarn colors is half the fun! Knitting it all up and seeing it come together is wonderful and the final moment of seeing this creation around someones neck, on a little body, noggin or in their stroller is the BEST! I have been lucky enough to receive wonderful photos and I keep them ALL!
