I am continually inspired by heirlooms passed on for generations. I LOVE doilies, but most are so small they get covered by vases or teapots. I wanted something that could stand on its own and so Glory was born. Make it for a new baby or for your couch. Crocheted in your choice of worsted weight yarn (brand specifics listed below), this blanket can be made in a few hours!
Test yarns used:
4 skeins Lion Brand Vanna's Choice -or-
2 skeins Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn! -or-
2 skeins Caron Simply Soft -or-
3 skeins Bernat Waverly
Gauge:
unimportant, as it's a lacy pattern
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- ~40-42" diameter
Materials:
- ~700 yards worsted weight yarn
- 6.5mm (K) hook

About the Designer
My mom taught me to crochet a granny square. I made a giant one and gave it to my cat. A few weeks later, I was on to reading patterns. A year later, I picked up some knitting needles. I've been knitting and crocheting my evenings away since.
