Welcome! I'm Sheila. I've crocheted since I was about 11, and I've been designing for over 20 years now. I started after my eyes lost the ability to jump quickly back and forth from pattern to work. I started doing my own thing and never looked back!
The vast majority of my work is in thread crochet, although I do enjoy my yarns too. I love to design 3D crocheted objects that are accented by my jewelrymaking hobby, too. I also enjoy creating accessories and winter warming objects like afghans, unique scarves, etc.
My patterns are sold to support the needs of my Miniature Schnauzer rescue dogs. We operate as Sheila's Schnauzies, a nonprofit organization and currently have four furkids here. We all appreciate your support!
If you'd like to see my crochet theme artwork printed on things like t-shirts and tote bags, stop by http://www.cafepress.com/Schnauzies.
I do offer quite an extensive selection of free patterns at http://www..hubpages.com/hub/sheilaschnauzies. There you'll find a complete index of my free patterns.
Thanks for coming by! Happy Crocheting,

Although I have rated these patterns Intermediate ability, many of them can be achieved by a confident beginner provided they can learn the stitches in each pattern. The most difficult stitch used in any pattern is Double Treble Crochet. I do make extensive use of popcorns and clusters in some of the patterns.
You'll be able to learn some easy new stitches too, such as my Prong Single Crochet, Rag Stitch, etc. Full illustrated instructions are included.
When you purchase my book, I'll send you any updates with additional patterns that may be added in the future free!
Happy Crocheting, -Sheila
