Gauge depends on the hook and yarn you use, how tightly you work, and on which mesh you choose: 3dc or 4 dc. A 10x10 test swatch in both 3 dc and 4 dc is a good place to start to find out what your
personal gauge would be.
This pattern was based on using the following materials: #10 crochet cotton (approx. 1713 yards) and a size 7 steel hook (US sizing). With these materials the finished size could be 20 in wide by 22.8 inches high.
Along with the PDF pattern you will receive a PDF instruction sheet on how to do the starting chain.

I have always been a crafter. I learned to crochet at 11 and never looked back. Over the last 40+ years I have taught myself to knit, do bead work, plastic canvas, paint..you name it, I have probably tried it. At the height of the bead craze I owned my own bead shop and taught beading lessons. There is just so much satisfaction in creating something by hand and the joy you get when you see how thrilled people are to receive your handmade gifts.View all patterns by designer (28) »
