Wool is a great insulator so it makes the perfect trivet. This pattern is perfect for beginner crocheters or anyone looking for a quick and easy project. Combine colors to use up your wool yarn scraps! I've included easy, no-mess instructions for felting the crocheted trivet in a washing machine are included. Can be made with or without the handy loop. Time to crochet is about 1-2 hours depending on your proficiency.

- Finished trivet is approximately 7" across
Materials:
- Approximately 70 yards of worsted weight 100% wool yarn
- Size F or G crochet hook (metric size 3.75 or 4.25; English size 8 or 7)
- A washing machine.
- A pillowcase
