Pattern Description:

I have made a number of these as baby gifts! It's always so well received!

The neutral color is perfect for any boy or girl! I have done them in stripes to coordinate with a new baby's room or in the mom's favorite colors!

Making a little toy to match will take it over the top!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approx 29" x 24"


  • two skeins Caron Simply Soft (approx 360 yards in each skein) in color of your choice or any worsted weight 4
  • crochet hook size I/9
  • yarn needle

I was taught to knit by my mother in my teens in the '70's and I quickly went from that to cross stitch and then needlepoint.

Life goes on to a full time job, marriage, a child and then in early in 2004, I was forced to stay off my feet. I pick up the needles and started with knitting a scarf and then another, and then another! Next thing I know, I have 50 of them!
