In my senior year of high school, I began to crochet. At first it started as a hobby and a way for me to utilize and express my artistic and creative talents, but then, as time went on, more and more people wanted hats, and eventually people asked me if they could buy them! So what started as a challenge and a hobby is now a business where I sell and design hats as well as patterns for hats.
I am currently 20 years old and am in college, and while school is my main priority, one can still find me crocheting in the back of class from time to time or sketching ideas for new hats. Crocheting is really a great hobby to get into and somewhat of a dying art, both of which I thought were great reasons to start a blog to teach people the way I crochet and some of the techniques and patterns I've come up with through my time crocheting.
I now run the blog louiesloops.com where I post free patterns and tutorials for crafts as well as sell patterns and hats!
