Pattern Description:
Hook up a gift for your favorite fashionista with these pretty padded hangers. Simple crochet stitches and layered flowers do double duty, both dressing up the hanger and keeping clothes in place. The layered flowers are so versatile that you can mix and match the colors however you like. They also make great brooches, shoe clips, and hair tiessomething for everyone on your list!
Gauge:
20 hdc worked over 10 rows
measures 4" wide x 3 1/2" tall,
unstretched.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Hanger cover measures about 12 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall, but will stretch to fit most padded hangers.
Materials:
- DK weight yarn, approx 75 yards/color for each hanger cover, scrap amounts for flowers.
- Size G-6 (4.0 mm) crochet hook or any size to obtain gauge
- Satin Padded Hangers (hangers shown measure about 15" wide, from bedbathandbeyond.com)
