Basic Skills Necessary:

  • single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet

Pattern Description:

This unisex blanket has the smaller dimensions of a modern carriage blanket and is a perfect project for any season because it's crocheted with an incredibly soft and easy-care cotton-blend yarn held doubled. The pattern features an 8-row repeat that is designed to give the blanket a textural dimension that echoes the linear stitch design. The border includes a simple reverse single crochet stitch that imparts a firm, sleek finish.

The blanket shown was crocheted with 7 balls of Knit Picks' Comfy Fingering Weight yarn in the "Marlin" colorway.


4 stitches and 1.5 rows = 1 inch in double crochet

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size, 35" x 35" after blocking


  • 1,525 yards of fingering weight yarn
